Remember Bailey was shot twice in the head. It was a miracle that Bailey was able to write and read again, but now he was training himself to walk and get out of the hospital bed. If you thought Bailey was never going to jog/run ever again, well take a look at this video. Bailey took to his Instagram account to post video of him running through the hallways of that facility one afternoon.

Bailey felt so good that before the Rams primetime game against the Buccaneers, he would facetime the team and wish them good luck. This sparked the team and helped the Rams make it two straight wins.  In a matter of months, Bailey went from on the brick of death, to cheering his team while he ran through the training facility.

Bailey also got a surprise that weekend as teammates Tavon Austin, Trumaine Johnson and others came to visit him while he was still in the hospital. Bailey’s smile was finally back. With a month passed after being shot in the head, Bailey finally checked out of the hospital and enjoyed family time. He was released from the hospital right in time for Christmas. He took time to thank his friends, family and fans via social.

A couple of days later, Stedman Bailey would tweet this message out via twitter. Please remember this tweet as we continue to look at Bailey’s Incredible Journey Back Into The NFL
