With the 1st pick of the 2016 NFL Draft, The Los Angeles Rams select Jared Goff QB California
The Los Angeles Rams look to have found their franchise quarterback with Jared Goff in the 2016 NFL Draft. Captain Jared Goff would leave The University of California with 4,719 passing yards, 43 Touchdowns, 13 interceptions along with an overall 161.3 quarterback rating in 2015.
the Rams made the biggest move before the Draft by moving up to the number 1 spot by trading away their first-round pick (2016), two second-round picks (2016), a third-round pick (2016), a first-round pick (2017) and another third-round pick (2017) to the Titans. With the move to the number one spot, fans and the league knew they were aiming for a hopeful franchise quarterback.
With a new quarterback at the helm for the Los Angeles Rams, current players took to social media as they would already be behind their new quarterback. Fans, players and the organization are happy with the selection. Jared Goff is the face of Los Angeles.
