QB Jared Goff

The Rams gave up a lot to go get Jared Goff. There is no way the Rams get their quarterback if they dont trade up from the 15th overall pick to the first overall pick. Les Snead and Jeff Fisher saw their guy and they went to go get him.

It didnt come without it’s costs. The Rams traded away both their second round picks this year as well as their third rounder. That’s not to mention the early picks that they will have to give up next year. If it works out though and Goff becomes the franchise guy, it will all be worth it.

A week ago, the Rams were going into the season with Case Keenum as their projected starting quarterback, and given that they selected Goff, it’s hard to say they didnt get a huge upgrade at the position. Goff has all the skills and intangibles of a franchise quarterback. The Rams now have their quarterback and can move forward

Grade: A+
