WR Pharoh Cooper

The Rams do have Tavon Austin, Brian Quick, and Kenny Britt at wide receiver, but realistically speaking, that’s not who the team wanted going into the season with their new young quarterback. They fixed that by taking a play-making wide receiver that scored nine touchdowns last season at South Carolina and caught 66 balls as the teams only legitimate target.

The issue with Cooper is he is very similar to Austin in which he fits more of the gadget style wide receiver. Cooper is taller and bigger than Austin, but they have a lot of the same skill set. The receiver also has a lot of straight line speed, but raw in his route-running. This is very reminiscent of Chris Givens from a couple of years ago who was really just a one-trick pony. Goff was excited about the Cooper pick when it happened, so hopefully it works out.
