I assumed the Rams would go either corner or linebacker with one of their picks, but I believe Forrest was the wrong guy. While he was a playmaker in 2015, recording 93 tackles, six tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks and two interceptions, there are some glaring holes in his game that need to be fixed before he can have an impact at the next level. He is a poor form tackler who has had nine tackle attempts broke and has missed another 22 in the last two seasons combined due to his susceptibility to ball carriers with better change of direction and slow instincts. He does, however, have translatable skills such as his range in coverage and ability to move by second-level blocker; Forrest is also an efficient blitzer with plus closing speed.
