Season tickets for the Los Angeles Rams are sold out for the 2016 season, but a limited amount of single-game tickets will be available.
Between all of the hype surrounding the possibility of Jared Goff starting as a rookie and the team’s scheduled appearance on HBO‘s Hard Knocks, there’s plenty of reason for fans to be excited about the Los Angeles Rams heading into the 2016 season. While the verdict is still out when it comes to how well the team will perform during their first season, the Rams have to at least be excited over the success of their season ticket sales.
According to the Los Angeles Times, deposit holders for the 2016 season bought the 70,000 tickets available on Tuesday–meaning fans can now only buy a limited amount of single-game tickets that will be available to the public. It’s one thing for a regular NFL team to sell all of their season tickets right away, but for a team like the Rams to do so in six hours when they just moved to a new city shows how excited fans really are for the return of football to Los Angeles.
For years, there’s been plenty of chatter regarding the possibility of Roger Goodell bringing a football team back to Los Angeles and it’s still crazy to believe how fast everything is falling into place. Even though their new stadium in Inglewood won’t be ready for another three years, football fans in Los Angeles are wasting no time when it comes to embracing their new team and let’s hope the Rams will give them plenty to cheer about after finishing 7-9 last season.
