Rams’ Defense on the Rise

When looking at some of their performances from the 2015 season, there’s plenty of reasons to be excited about what’s in store for the Rams’ defense this year as they have the potential to be even more dangerous.

While it won’t be easy to replace a cornerback like Janoris Jenkins, but Los Angeles hopes to see another big season from Trumaine Johnson–who was recently hit with the franchise tag. Obviously, Johnson would have preferred to reach a long-term deal with the team, but hopefully the cornerback can prove his value even more in 2016 to open up the talks for a new deal down the road.

His records over the last four years may not indicate it, but Fisher has done an excellent job when it comes to the helping the Rams be considered one of the league’s most underrated defenses as they’re coming off a 2015 season in which they allowed just 20.6 points per game. Hopefully, 2016 will be the year when the defense reaches their true potential as Fisher will have plenty to work with once again–especially with stars like Johnson and Donald leading the way.
