With training camp officially under way, here’s a look at the top eight position battles to keep an eye on for the Los Angeles Rams.

There’s plenty of hype surrounding the Los Angeles Rams now that training camp is officially under way for the first time since the recent move from St. Louis and even though it’s only been a couple of days–it’s easy to see why the fans are excited.

After finishing 7-9 in 2015, the Rams were smart enough to realize the Nick Foles experiment was a complete bust and moved up in the 2016 NFL Draft to select Jared Goff at No. 1. While transitioning to the NFL may take some time, Los Angeles is confident enough that Goff will eventually become the franchise quarterback the team has desperately searching for.

Whether Goff’s time will begin this season–only time will tell.

The Rams obviously wouldn’t have surrendered everything they did to move up in the draft to acquire Goff if they didn’t want him to be the quarterback they build their franchise around, but that doesn’t mean the rookie won’t sit out in 2016 and learn from Case Keenum. Along with the quarterback position, here’s the top eight position battles to keep an eye on for the Rams for the remainder of training camp and preseason.
