Don’t Call Me Gurley
If you’ve ever seen the classic comedy Airplane! with Leslie Neilsen, then it’s pretty simple to get this hilarious reference.
It only took 13 games last season for Gurley to emerge as one of the league’s top running backs and expectations are even higher heading into his second season with the Rams. If Gurley can manage to record 1,106 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns as a rookie, just imagine the type of numbers the former Georgia star could put up this this year.
Despite ranking near the bottom of the league last season, the Rams’ offense should see plenty of improvement thanks to Gurley and an upgrade at the quarterback position. Gurley has already proven he’s fully recovered from the torn ACL he suffered in the middle of his junior season and as long as he manages to stay healthy, he’ll easily be one of the top fantasy players in 2016.
