Tre’s Gone Mason (Instead of Missing)

For reasons that can’t be explained, Tre Mason made the decision not to show up to training camp with Los Angeles and to top things off–nobody on the team seems to have heard from the running back since last season came to an end.

The sad thing is Mason seemed to have a good shot at earning the backup role at running back behind Gurley, but the running back has obviously ruined any chance of that happening now. Mason was last spotted in Florida at his mother’s house training in the front yard and when considering he only averaged 2.8 yards per carry in 2015, Los Angeles seems to be better off without him as one of their backups.

Instead, the Rams can focus on getting more carries for Benny Cunningham–who has looked impressive so far during camp–at running back and not have to worry about keeping a roster spot for Mason.
