Hangin’ With Pharoh Cooper

Back in the 90’s, Mark Curry starred in a hilarious sitcom with Holly Robinson Peete called Hangin’ With Mr. Cooper. In May, the Rams used a fourth-round pick on Pharoh Cooper and if all goes well, the wideout could have an immediate impact as a rookie.

The jobs at wide receiver behind Austin and Britt appear to be wide open at this point in preseason and the team hopes Cooper performs well enough to claim the No. 3 spot before the start of the regular season. The fact that Cooper managed to haul in 17 touchdown catches over his last two seasons at South Carolina shows what he brings to the table for Los Angeles–especially playing in the slot.

As mentioned before, the position battle at wide receivers is quite interesting for the Rams and it’s still way too early to tell, but Cooper could end up being a surprise rookie to keep an eye on from a fantasy perspective.
