Apparently, one of the officials from Saturday’s game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Rams forgot Jeff Fisher’s squad no longer plays in St. Louis.
The Los Angeles Rams returned to the west coast for the first time in 22 years this season and unfortunately for a quick second, one of the officials from Saturday’s preseason game against the Kansas City Chiefs forgot the team no longer plays in St. Louis.

During a penalty in which LaMarcus Joyner and Jeremy Maclin were eventually ejected from the game, one of the officials made the mistake of saying “No. 20 on St. Louis” instead of Los Angeles. Obviously, it was clear the official was referring to Joyner on the Rams, but fans in attendance weren’t too happy with the mistake as the “St. Louis” reference was followed by constant booing from the stands.
The city of Los Angeles has been waiting a long time for an NFL team to return to their city and even though this shouldn’t be considered a big deal, it was quite hilarious to hear their reactions after the slip up.

As far as the game is concerned, there’s been plenty of positives so far, but there’s also been plenty of negatives as well–especially when it comes to Jared Goff. If the rookie quarterback continues to struggle, it’s safe to say the booing for the No. 1 pick will be worse than it was for the official who referred to the team as St. Louis.
