Jared Goff’s First Touchdown Pass

After his preseason debut against the Dallas Cowboys was cut short, Jared Goff was hoping to see more action this time around against the Chiefs. It may not have been pretty at the beginning, but Goff overcame a rough start and ended up playing throughout the fourth quarter–which was great from an experience perspective.

Jeff Fisher realizes Goff still has plenty of work to do before he can even think about making him the starter, but it was good to see the No. 1 pick record his first touchdown pass of the preseason. Goff found Malcolm Brown at the beginning of the fourth quarter for an impressive 10-yard touchdown pass and hopefully, this will boost the rookie’s confidence moving forward.

Thanks to Goff’s first touchdown pass, it was easier for Rams fans to forget about that embarrassing fumble he recorded on his second play after replacing Case Keenum.
