Todd Gurley Picks Up Where He Left Off

Fisher made it clear that Todd Gurley was going to see limited action in his preseason debut with the Rams. Apparently, limited action meant only one series–which is all Los Angeles fans needed to see from their beloved running back.

Gurley seemed to pick up right where he left off last year after rushing for 20 yards with one touchdown on just four carries against the Chiefs. Last week against the Cowboys, Fisher decided to make Gurley a healthy inactive prior to the game and as much as Rams fans wanted to see more of the running back on Saturday, this was the best move.

Expectations are high for Gurley heading into his sophomore season with Los Angeles and the last thing the team wants to do is put him at risk to an injury. Hopefully, Saturday’s limited performance is just one of many touchdowns coming from Gurley during his 2016 campaign.
