Malcolm Brown Continues to Make Strong Case

To say Malcolm Brown has been a workhorse for the Rams at running back would be a huge understatement and his performance against the Chiefs is the perfect example as to why.

Brown played a key role on offense for Los Angeles after catching the go-ahead touchdown from Goff in the fourth quarter and the running back continues to make a strong case for earning a roster spot on the 53-man roster. Thanks to Tre Mason abandoning the team in training camp, the Rams have a few other options at running back behind Gurley and with the way he’s been playing in preseason, it would be a shock to see the team pass on Brown.

Along with his key touchdown catch, Brown managed to record 68 rushing yards on 12 carries against the Chiefs. Between the emergence of Brown and Benny Cunningham, the Rams should feel confident about their backups to Gurley.
