Brian Quick Needs to Be Cut

Sometimes in life, one has to realize a poor investment and simply cut their losses. As for the Rams, that’s exactly the case for wide receiver Brian Quick.

Los Angeles has spent the last four seasons waiting for Quick to emerge in the passing game and it doesn’t look like 2015 is going to be any different if these first two preseason games are any indication. The former second-round pick just doesn’t have what it takes to make an impact with this team and the fact that he only caught two of five passes thrown his way–not to mention his key dropped pass in the second half–against Kansas City shows Los Angeles would be better off without him.

There are plenty of wide receivers fighting for a roster spot that would be a much better option than Quick. He’s been given every opportunity in the world to prove himself over the last four years and thinking 2016 will finally be the year for Quick just seems foolish at this point.
