Kenny Britt Should Be No. 1 Wideout

If Kenny Britt found a way to make an impact like he did over the first two drives of the game, the Rams would find themselves in a much better situation on offense.

Without Britt’s 20-yard catch and the 41-yard defensive pass interference penalty he drew on Ron Parker on the opening drive, Gurley wouldn’t have been able to find the end zone as easy as he did. Britt may have only finished the game with two catches for 27 yards, but the pass interference penalty was huge for Los Angeles on their opening drive and the touchdown may have never happened without it.

Britt has always shown signs of being a No. 1 wideout throughout his career, but he’s never been able to reach his true potential. Los Angeles has been waiting a long time for a 1,000-yard receiver and while Austin has the speed, the team may want to consider making Britt their No. 1 wideout before the start of the regular season.
