16. New York Jets (14)

Christian Hackenberg finally made his debut with the New York Jets and even though he threw an interception, he still seems like a better option than Geno Smith as a backup quarterback.

The former Penn State star completed 6 of 16 passes for 105 yards with one touchdown to go along with the one interception as the Jets fell 21-20 to the Giants. New York finds themselves in one of the most interesting positions heading into the final week or preseason when looking at all of the quarterbacks on the roster and it wouldn’t come as a surprise to see Smith be the odd man out when it’s all said and done.

Smith–who completed just 3 of 5 passes for 14 yards–has been given every opportunity in the world to prove himself with the Jets and unfortunately, the quarterback just hasn’t done anything in the preseason to make a case for a roster spot.
