2016 NFL Power Rankings: Los Angeles Rams Fall Heading Into Final Week of Preseason
By Dan Parzych
7. Denver Broncos (6)
Mark Sanchez has seen plenty of low moments throughout his career, but failing to win the starting job for the Denver Broncos may be the lowest of all after the veteran quarterback failed to see any action in the third preseason game against the Rams.
The good news for the Broncos is the team will be just fine without Sanchez (assuming he’s released) as Trevor Siemian looked sharp against Los Angeles on Saturday. Siemian’s numbers may not be that impressive on paper, but when looking at his arm strength and some of the throws made by the quarterback, Denver has every reason to feel confident with him running the offense.
As for the defense, Von Miller and company look ready to make another Super Bowl run with the way they looked in the first half. And if the offense manages to put up better numbers, just imagine how scary this team can be.
