6. Houston Texans (10)
Brock Osweiler was one of the biggest free-agent signings by the Houston Texans during the offseason, but the team received plenty of criticism for overpaying a quarterback with just seven career starts. After his performance against the Arizona Cardinals, it’s safe to say Texans fans are feeling better about Osweiler running the offense and the potential this team has in the AFC.
To say Osweiler’s performance was fantastic would be a huge understatement after the quarterback completed 11 of 13 passes for 146 yards with with touchdown. And if that wasn’t impressive enough, it should also be noted that Osweiler’s two incompletions came on dropped passes–so he could have easily been a perfect 13 of 13.
The offense has always been the main thing holding Houston back from reaching their true potential with an already stellar defense and with the way this team handled the Arizona Cardinals, just imagine the damage they can do when the games begin to count.
Next: 5. Green Bay Packers
