Case Keenum Looks Sharp Again
Jeff Fisher has made it clear that Case Keenum is the current starter over Jared Goff and from a competition standpoint, it’s not even close.
Los Angeles has enough talent to compete in the NFC West this season, but the only way that’s going to happen is with an improved offense. With an upgrade at the quarterback position now that Nick Foles is officially out of the picture, the Rams can only go up when it comes to improving on offense after finishing near the bottom of the league last year.
If that’s going to happen–Keenum needs to be the starter.
Keenum has looked sharp so far in preseason and Saturday’s game against Denver was no different after the quarterback played the entire first quarter and completed 8 of 12 passes for 77 yards. Those numbers may not seem outstanding, but when considering they came against Denver’s top-ranked defense, Keenum made another strong case for the starting spot.
