The rookie wide receiver suffered a shoulder injury against the Denver Broncos on Saturday.
The Los Angeles Rams have high expectations for wide receiver Pharoh Cooper in his first season with the team when considering the lack of depth behind Tavon Austin and Kenny Britt. After struggling in the preseason opener, Cooper has recorded back-to-back impressive performances for the Rams and even scored a key touchdown in the second preseason game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

As excited as the team is to get Cooper going in the regular season, it looks like Los Angeles is going to have to hold off on their rookie receiver due to a shoulder injury.
First off, the catch made by Cooper on the play he apparently injured his shoulder on against the Broncos was simply spectacular and should have the team excited about the type of impact he can make this season. Despite having one of the league’s top running backs in Todd Gurley, the Rams’ offense was horrendous overall in 2015 and ranked near the bottom of the league–so the team can use all of the help they can get in the passing game.
