The Philadelphia Eagles invested a ton of money in Sam Bradford over the next two years and if things don’t go according to plan, they could be even more trouble since they won’t have a first-round pick in next year’s draft.
While the defense has looked amazing at times during the preseason, last year is the perfect example of how success in the preseason doesn’t always carry over to the regular season. Philadelphia certainly seems capable of making a run at the division with the NFC East being up for grabs, but now comes the challenge of performing at a high level with the games being meaningful.
Bradford has looked sharp at times during the preseason and knows it’s only a matter of time before the team hands the job over to Carson Wentz–who was selected by the Eagles as the No. 2 pick last May. With the lack of receiving corps, Bradford will have quite the workload cut out for him on offense.
