11. Dallas Cowboys (12)
If the Dallas Cowboys are in contention for the playoffs when Tony Romo returns from his back injury, it could put Jason Garrett in a difficult situation depending on how well Dak Prescott looks.
The rookie has been nothing short of phenomenal during the preseason as the Cowboys appear to have found their quarterback of the future once Romo’s time in the NFC comes to an end, but Prescott still has a long way to go. Dallas knows they can’t determine Prescott’s true ability based off one preseason and the true test will be whether he can carry the success over to the regular season.
Luckily for Prescott, the fourth-round pick has plenty of weapons on offense to work with and will benefit from having one of the league’s most athletic wide receivers in Dez Bryant. Isn’t it crazy to see how quickly Prescott has become a fan favorite when the Cowboys seemed so desperate to sign another quarterback a few weeks ago?
