7. Pittsburgh Steelers (8)
First off, let’s give the Pittsburgh Steelers credit for rewarding wide receiver Antonio Brown with a restructured deal before the official start of the 2016 season. With 265 receptions over the last two seasons, it’s easy to see why Brown is considered one of the top players in the league and he’ll certainly make it easier for Ben Roethlisberger on offense.
It’s still way too early for any bold predictions, but many believe the Steelers are capable of posting record-breaking numbers on offense in 2016 and whether that happens will come down to the numbers displayed by Brown and Big Ben. Pittsburgh is always considered a strong contender at the beginning of the season and with the potential on offense, it’s easy to see them as early favorites in the AFC North over the Bengals.
Plus, let’s not forget about how this offense will be even more dangerous once Le’Veon Bell returns from suspension.
