6. Houston Texans (6)
Whether he wants it or not, Brock Osweiler will be analyzed for every move he makes during his first season under center with the Houston Texans when looking at all of the money invested in the quarterback. But if the preseason is any indication of what’s in store for the regular season, it appears the Texans have finally found the quarterback they’ve spent years waiting for.
The only reason why the Texans even won the AFC South last year was because of their defense and with an improved situation at quarterback, they could become one of the league’s top overall teams. DeAndre Hopkins (111 catches for 1,521 yards with 11 touchdowns in 2015) has emerged as one of the league’s top players at wide receiver and Houston hopes to see the fourth-year star quickly develop chemistry with his new quarterback.
If all goes well, the Texans may not only win the division for the second-straight season, but fight for the top seed in the AFC.
