Redskins Over Steelers

Will the Pittsburgh Steelers live up to the hype and set all sorts of records on offense? Only time will tell, but their first matchup against the Washington Redskins could turn out to be one of the highest-scoring games from Week 1.

The addition of Josh Norman will give the Redskins’ defense a much-needed boost, but the cornerback will certainly have his hands full during the regular-season opener against the Steelers. After catching 136 passes for 1,834 yards and 10 touchdowns, Antonio Brown is ready to prove once again why he’s one of the league’s top wide receivers, and he’ll get the opportunity to do so in the national spotlight on Monday Night Football.

While Brown will most likely display big numbers in the opener, don’t be surprised if Washington pulls off the win in this one. Between playing in front of their fans, and Kirk Cousins looking to get off to a hot start to prove he’s worthy of a long-term deal, the Redskins realize the importance of winning the opener.
