11. Philadelphia Eagles (12)
The fact that Carson Wentz was limited to appearing in just one game during the preseason and displayed that kind of performance against the Browns is nothing short of amazing.
Not only did Wentz lead the Eagles to an opening-drive touchdown against Cleveland, but the No. 2 overall pick looked like a veteran under center after completing 22 of 37 passes for 278 yards to go along with two touchdowns. While this was only one game, the performance by Wentz was enough to make Doug Pederson and company feel better about their decision to move on from Bradford after the preseason.
The original plan was for Wentz to redshirt his rookie season, but that plan changed fast once the Vikings made the Eagles an offer for Bradford they couldn’t refuse. While Wentz will most likely still deal with the typical growing pains most rookies go through, his first performance was certainly a nice surprise.
