28. Los Angeles Rams (26) (Play Monday Night)

Now that their time on Hard Knocks has officially come to an end, the Rams will continue being in the national spotlight for at least one more week as they open the season on the road against the 49ers.

After finishing 7-9 last year, Los Angeles seems capable of being contenders in the NFC, and they certainly have the defense to do so. However, the only way they’re going to reach the next level is if they figure out a way to take the offense to a whole new level.

The Rams ranked near the bottom of the league in 2015 when it came to offense, and they’re certainly making the right decision by going with Case Keenum at quarterback over Jared Goff at the moment. Goff’s time will eventually come when considering what Los Angeles gave up to acquire the quarterback in May’s draft, but Keenum gives this team the best shot at winning now.

Division games will be key for the Rams when considering how tough the NFC West is, and Monday’s game against the 49ers is no different.
