Redskins Over Giants

Football fans have been waiting a long time for this matchup between the Washington Redskins and New York Giants to finally see Josh Norman go at it again with Odell Beckham Jr.

Everybody knows what happened when Norman–who was a member of the Carolina Panthers in 2015–and Beckham squared off last year as the cornerback received a hefty fine while the wideout was suspended for a game. These two can say all they want about this game not being meaningful, but that’s clearly a lie.

When it comes to Norman and Beckham, there’s nothing each player would love more than to beat the other on the football field. With the way things turned out last year, don’t be surprised if there’s numerous occasions where these two need to be separated on Sunday.

The only chance Washington is going to have in this game is if Kirk Cousins stop making critical mistakes inside the red zone. The quarterback did everything in his power to earn a long-term deal in the offseason from the organization, and even though the Redskins never gave in, Cousins still needs to have a good season if that contract is ever going to come in the offseason.
