For the second-straight week, Brian Quick scored a big touchdown in the first quarter for the Los Angeles Rams.
One of the biggest questions heading into the 2016 season was whether the Los Angeles Rams would regret keeping Brian Quick on the 53-man roster. When looking at how the wide receiver has come up big on offense over the last two games, it’s safe to say Jeff Fisher may have known what he was doing by keeping Quick on board.
For the second game in a row, Quick came up big for the Rams’ offense in the passing game after catching a 65-yard touchdown from Case Keenum in the first quarter of Sunday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals. Last weekend, Quick caught a 44-yard strike from Keenum in the first quarter to give Los Angeles their first touchdown of the young 2016 season.

As exciting as this is for a team with a weak receiving corps, the main factor becomes whether Quick can find a way to be consistent with Keenum in the passing game.
Quick only had six catching in three games prior to Sunday’s game against the Cardinals, and when looking at the inconsistency on offense, this is the perfect opportunity for the wideout to make a name for himself. There’s been plenty of frustration surrounding Quick over the years when considering he’s never been able to live up to the hype, but let’s hope his touchdown streak of two games is the first step in the right direction.
