The frustration is piling up with Los Angeles Rams quarterback Case Keenum after another disappointing performance against the New York Giants.
At the beginning of the season, Los Angeles Rams head coach Jeff Fisher believed Case Keenum was the team’s best option at quarterback over rookie Jared Goff due to his veteran experience.
After Sunday’s frustrating performance against the New York Giants, it’s safe to say Keenum has hit a new low as fans seem ready to move on from the quarterback.

In Week 6 against the Lions, Keenum displayed one of the best games of his career after throwing for more than 300 yards for only the second time in his career to go along with four total touchdowns. Unfortunately, Keenum’s stellar performance went to waste after the quarterback threw an interception on the team’s final offensive drive against Detroit.

After finding Tavon Austin for an early 10-yard touchdown in the first quarter, all signs pointed to Keenum picking up right where he left off in Week 7, especially when Los Angeles jumped out to a 10-0 lead at one point. Instead, everything seemed to go down hill for Keenum and the Rams after these two scoring drives as the team failed to put up points for the remainder of the game.
To top it off, Keenum finished the game with four interceptions, even though one of them wasn’t his fault since it came off a deflected pass to Austin.
Still, the fact that Keenum finished with as many interceptions as he did is frustrating enough for Rams fans as many believe it’s time to go with Goff after the bye. Keenum has received every opportunity in the world to prove himself, but when looking at some of the interceptions thrown against the Giants, it’s time for Fisher to make a change at quarterback.
Otherwise, Los Angeles is just going to continue digging a deeper hole in the NFC standings.
