Los Angeles Rams head coach Jeff Fisher shared his thoughts on the team’s embarrassing loss to the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday.
Week 14 was another pathetic showing for the Los Angeles Rams, but for head coach Jeff Fisher, it seemed like just another loss.
Fisher spoke to the media following the 42-14 shellacking at the hands of the Falcons, which included a 42-0 deficit at one point in the game.
While things have been spiraling out of control for months, if not years now, Fisher doesn’t subscribe to that notion:
Jeff Fisher said no, it doesn't feel like after three lopsided losses that things are spiraling out of control.

Delusion at its finest, folks.
This team is a runaway train that has gone straight off a cliff. To say things aren’t getting out of control when this team is embarrassed on a weekly basis is just absurd.
Don’t worry, though, Fisher understands why you’re upset:
Jeff Fisher said fans have every right to be disappointed today.

Sorry, Jeff. Clearly you don’t understand why fans are upset. Fans are upset because this team has already spiraled out of control and you have done nothing in four-plus years to fix it.
Jeff Fisher’s Veiled Excuse
Of course, the customary Fisher excuse was wedged into his response with his reference to the team’s long road trip, although it was a bit more veiled this time:
Jeff Fisher said it was extremely disappointing since coming off a long road trip and having a good week of practice.

It’s also good to know Fisher only had a “glimmer of hope” for Sunday’s game, which is much more than most Rams fans had:
Fisher said they had a "glimmer of hope" knowing the Falcons top two receivers were out today.
