9. Seattle Seahawks
The Seattle Seahawks have to be kicking themselves on missing out on T.J. Lang when considering he would have been a great addition to an offensive line that struggled for most of the 2016 season. While the team did end up settling for the signing of Luke Joeckel on a one year deal, many believe the Seahawks are overpaying for the left tackle, and rightfully so.
Expectations were high for the former Texas A&M star when he was selected as the second overall pick in 2013, but Joeckel has struggled to live up to the hype, and is coming off a season in which he was only able to play in four games. At least for Seattle, the team was smart enough to give Joeckel one of those “prove yourself” deals in which they only signed him for one year instead of long term.
Obviously, the Seahawks would love nothing more than to see things workout for the best with Joeckel, but he seems like a player the team could easily regret spending all of that money on. As for the rumors surrounding Adrian Peterson‘s interest in Seattle, that’s certainly a name to keep an eye on over the next few weeks.
