Week 3: Los Angeles Chargers (Home)

If this was last preseason, this matchup may not have as much significance since the Los Angeles Chargers would still be playing in San Diego. But with the Chargers now sharing the city with the Los Angeles Rams, it will be interesting to see what type of friendly rivalry establishes between these two teams, if any at all.

This may only be a preseason game, but it will be fun to see the Rams and Chargers square off against one another for the first time with both teams officially part of Los Angeles. One year after the Rams decided to make the move from St. Louis to Los Angeles, the Chargers packed up their bags to do the same after an interesting 2016 season in which they finished with a 5-11 record while eventually parting ways with former head coach Mike McCoy.

On paper, the Chargers are never a team to take lightly since the argument can be made that one of the main reasons behind their struggles always seems to be the devastating injuries on both sides of the football. All due respect to the Rams, but when looking at the offense that only averaged 14 points per game last year, the Chargers may be the better team in Los Angeles at the moment from a competitive standpoint.
