1. Washington Redskins, Week 2

A few months back, the Los Angeles Rams made a bold decision to make Sean McVay the youngest head coach in NFL history, and the NFL decided to waste no time having him face his former team in the Washington Redskins. In Week 2, McVay will square off against the team he spent the previous seven seasons with (last three as offensive coordinator), when the Redskins travel to Los Angeles in what should be a very exciting game to watch.

One of the main reasons why the Rams had such strong interest in McVay was the success he had with the development of Kirk Cousins at quarterback over the last two years. If McVay can figure out a way to see similar success with Jared Goff under center, Los Angeles will be in good hands for years to come at the quarterback position, which is something that hasn’t happened in a very long time.

It’s always fun to see former coaches facing former teams for the first time, and it will be even more interesting to see how the Rams perform in this one since McVay could be at an advantage for being familiar with the Redskins. McVay already seems motivated to prove himself worthy of being the youngest head coach in NFL history, and having the chance to face Washington this early could end up taking that motivation to an even higher level for Los Angeles.
