17. Washington Redskins: LSU S Jamal Adams

2017 could turn into an interesting season for the Washington Redskins since nobody really knows what to expect from a team that was in control of their own playoff destiny heading into Week 17 last year, only to fall short after losing at home to the New York Giants. Throw that into the mix along with the fact that both DeSean Jackson and Pierre Garcon bolted in free agency, next year will be quite the test for the Redskins.

On the bright side, at least Washington seems to have their answer at quarterback for at least one more season with Kirk Cousins after using the franchise tag on the veteran for the second year in a row. While Cousins hopes the additions of Terrelle Pryor and Brian Quick will help the offense fill the void left at wide receiver, defense should be the focus for the Redskins heading into Thursday night, and with a major need at safety, Jamal Adams is certainly one name to keep an eye on.

The LSU safety is considered one of the top players at his position for a reason after Adams showed major improvement as a junior when compared to his first two years with the Tigers. Not to mention Adams has been praised for his ability with the run defense, an area Washington could certainly use help in.
