2017 NFL Mock Draft: Final Predictions For First Round
By Dan Parzych

26. Seattle Seahawks: Alabama OT Cam Robinson
Remember all of the issues surrounding the offensive line with the Seattle Seahawks in 2016 when it came to protecting Russell Wilson at quarterback? The last thing the Seahawks want to see happen is their beloved quarterback experience those issues once again next season, especially since this team seems like the early favorites to repeat as division champions in the NFC West.
The fact that Wilson was able to find success despite all of the injuries he had to battle through during the regular season was simply amazing to witness, as he’s always been one of the most effective quarterbacks in the league when it comes to scrambling around with the football. But if Seattle doesn’t figure out a way to take care of the offensive line issues in the draft, 2017 could turn into a very long season for Wilson under center.
When looking at all of the teams this late in the round in need of help at offensive line, there’s a good chance the Seahawks will take the approach of best player available, and hopefully Alabama’s Cam Robinson will still be an option. The tackle may still have some areas in need of improvement, but at least his presence could help make life easier for Wilson along with improving the ground game for Seattle.
