28. Dallas Cowboys: Miami TE David Njoku

With all due respect to the Dallas Cowboys, it’s going to be difficult to top the success of last year’s draft when looking at the bright future this team appears to have with Ezekiel Elliott and Dak Prescott. To see the Cowboys emerge with the best record in the NFC at 13-3 while being led by two rookies on offense was simply unheard of, and with a year of experience under their belt, one can only imagine the potential surrounding this team moving forward.

Obviously, there’s every reason in the world to believe Dallas will hopefully find success in this year’s draft as well, but it’s going to be tough to top what Elliott and Prescott accomplished last year as rookies. With that being said, imagine the possibility of the Cowboys adding another dangerous playmaker for Prescott to work with on offense by bringing someone with the talent level of David Njoku on board.

Even if he really only has one good year of production at Miami to work with, Njoku seems to have the potential of becoming one of the league’s next top pass-catching tight ends. And when thinking about the possibility of Njoku having a quarterback like Prescott to work with, it makes Dallas even more dangerous on offense, which is terrifying to picture.
