24. Baltimore Ravens

Over the years, the Baltimore Ravens have established a reputation for having one of the league’s top defenses, and based off last season, there’s every reason in the world to believe that will be the case once again in 2017. In order to make sure that happens, the Ravens used their first four picks on defense, and in what ended up seeming like a surprise move, the team used the No. 16 pick on former Alabama star cornerback Marlon Humphrey.

Even though there were a few other players still on the board that Baltimore could have easily selected with this pick, it’s tough to pass on a talented player like Humphrey when seeing what he can bring to the table as a rookie. Between his blazing speed and ability to keep receivers in check, this selection of Humphrey seems to have all sorts of potential for a team like the Ravens.

With that being said, it came as a bit of a surprise to see Baltimore pass on numerous wide receivers since Joe Flacco clearly needs help in the passing game. They say defense wins championships, but for a team like the Ravens, the only way to overtake the Pittsburgh Steelers is to have a reliable offense as well.
