The Los Angeles Rams Week 4 trip to Dallas will show just how far Jared Goff and the offense have come.

Los Angeles Rams quarterback Jared Goff gets a monster road test in Week 4 as LA heads to Dallas for the team’s second game against the NFC East. It’s also the second of two back to back road games in 2017.

Of benefit for the Rams, is the game against the Cowboys comes after a Thursday night tilt at San Francisco, so LA will have the benefit of a few more days of preparation for what most expect to be a very good Dallas team.

Week 4 will also be a great measuring stick for Goff and the Rams offense. Again on the road, against what will be a superior football team, the second year quarterback will be tested on every single down at Jerry World.

Let’s not mince any words, the Cowboys are a the best of the NFC East, a playoff team, and a bonafide Super Bowl contender.

This could get ugly.

Los Angeles will have to rely on a strong Rams defense, and count on Wade Phillips to keep Goff and his offense in the game.

But only for awhile.

The Cowboys will deploy the overwhelming bulk of talent on the field. And while we have every reason to believe the Rams offense will be better versus 2016, it just doesn’t have the horses to keep up.

Los Angeles will be outmanned over the course of four quarters, and that is just how it will be this season for the Rams in Dallas. While it might not get entirely out of hand, it won’t be very close either.

Dallas in an easy one.
