Jeff Fisher was fired by the Los Angeles Rams towards the end of the 2016 season after nearly five years with the organization.

Fans of the Los Angeles Rams have been enjoying all of the behind the scenes action from 2016 after Amazon recently released the second season of the popular series All or Nothing, even if the team only managed to win four games. While there have been plenty of great storylines to follow for the Rams, one of the most interesting surprises was the interview involving former head coach Jeff Fisher.

Mike Florio from Pro Football Talk pointed out on Monday how the show made an unexpected visit with Fisher in Nashville, and even though it’s too late to get in on the action this upcoming season, that’s not going to stop him from landing another coaching gig in the NFL down the road. As Florio discussed in his article, it seems likely that at least one NFL team will consider giving Fisher another shot at head coach at some point, even if his gig in Los Angeles turned out to be a disaster.

Of course, if Fisher does end making the return to the NFL on a different team, the first game he loses would officially give him the crown for most losses in history since he is currently tied with Dan Reeves (165). What’s even more ironic is Fisher most likely would have owned that unfortunate record by now if the Rams let him finish the 2016 season out instead of parting ways following the team’s embarrassing 42-14 loss at home to the Atlanta Falcons in Week 14.

Either way, as interesting as the surprise interview with Fisher was to watch, at least Los Angeles seems to be much better off with Sean McVay. The youngest head coach in NFL history sure has a ton on his plate heading into training camp, but based off how key players like Jared Goff have responded to McVay’s system, it appears the Rams are finally taking the necessary steps in the right direction to become contenders once again.
