24. Indianapolis Colts

At this point heading into the preseason, the Indianapolis Colts still don’t seem to have any sort of idea on when Andrew Luck will be healthy enough to play, and if the quarterback can’t suit up for Week 1, the team could be in trouble. Of course, the Los Angeles Rams certainly wouldn’t mind playing that first game of the season against the Colts without Luck, but there’s another time for that discussion.

Nothing against Indianapolis, but if Luck misses the start of the 2017 season, their chances of making the postseason will basically be out the window since Scott Tolzien is far from the reliable answer at quarterback. Losing Luck is something the Colts simply can’t afford to deal with after missing out on the playoffs in each of the last two seasons, so it’s easy to understand why there’s so much concern surrounding the quarterback’s shoulder injury.

On a positive note, at least T.Y. Hilton is healthy enough, and coming off an impressive 2016 season in which he led the league in receiving yards. And if Luck’s shoulder isn’t healthy enough, Hilton will need to step his game up even more to give Tolzien a better chance at finding success under center.
