16. Cincinnati Bengals

First off, here’s to hoping Marvin Lewis has a quick recovery, and gets healthy enough to make a return to the Cincinnati Bengals sooner rather than later, as the head coach is taking a temporarily leave of absence. With that being said, the Bengals are one of a few teams on this list looking to recover from a disappointing 2016 season after failing to live up to the hype of being serious playoff contenders.

Every since Andy Dalton and A.J. Green came into the picture back in 2011, Cincinnati had developed an impressive streak of making the playoffs every season up until last year after only winning six games. However, despite everything that went down, the Bengals are a likely candidate to bounce back, and work their way back into becoming contenders again in the AFC to hopefully begin a brand new playoff streak.

The duo of Dalton and Green has always given Cincinnati an advantage against their opponents, but the offense has the potential to reach a whole new level after landing John Ross and Joe Mixon in the NFL Draft. Both rookies find themselves with an opportunity to make immediate impacts on offense that could very well be a difference maker on whether the Bengals do in fact become contenders once again.
