15. Philadelphia Eagles

Entering the offseason, the Philadelphia Eagles knew one of their top priorities was to build an offense around Carson Wentz so the quarterback would have better weapons to work with during his sophomore season. Thanks to the key signings of Alshon Jeffery and Torrey Smith in free agency, Wentz will be in much better shape this time around while hopefully helping the Eagles compete for the division title with their rivals.

Not to mention, Philadelphia received an unexpected surprise later on in the offseason with the addition of LeGarrette Blount to provide them with a tough running back, which they lacked all of last season. While all these new additions should benefit the offense by helping them hit a whole new level, it’s going to be the defensive side of the football for the Eagles that will determine how far this team goes.

Cornerback was a major issue for this team last year and unless someone steps up this season, it’s going to prevent Philadelphia from taking down other teams like the Dallas Cowboys or New York Giants in the NFC East. Jalen Mills and Patrick Robinson may be the starters at the moment, but it’s time for these two to make a name for themselves on this Eagles’ defense.
