13. Denver Broncos

Of all the quarterback battles to keep an eye on in preseason, no team is going to top the competition expected to go on between Trevor Siemian and Paxton Lynch with the Denver Broncos. While Siemian took over the starting role last year after Peyton Manning decided to call it a career last season, Lynch has looked impressive in the offseason as well to give his teammate a run for the money at the starting job.

At the moment, it’s hard to say which quarterback has the slight edge at the moment, but at least both players will have plenty of opportunities to display their skills in the preseason with the first-team offense. While Siemian will start the team’s first game against the Chicago Bears, Lynch will be the starter during the second week of preseason when the Broncos take on the San Francisco 49ers.

Any quarterback with a dynamic duo to work with like Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders should have no issues when it comes to producing on offense, so it will be interesting to see how these next few weeks play out. Either way, at least Denver feels confident about where Von Miller and the rest of the defense stands heading into that first game against the Bears.
