6. Green Bay Packers

Year after year, the Green Bay Packers enter a new season as one of the strong favorites to win the Super Bowl, and rightfully so when looking at the kind of numbers Aaron Rodgers always puts up on offense. The Packers have quite the impressive streak of eight playoff appearances in a row heading into the 2017 season, and while there’s a good chance that streak will eventually get bumped up to nine, Rodgers and company have quite the work cut out for them.

Last season was the perfect example of how competitive the NFC is thanks to the emergence of teams with high-powered offenses similar to the Packers like the Atlanta Falcons and Dallas Cowboys. Not to mention the NFC North is far from a walk in the park for Green Bay with teams like the Minnesota Vikings and Detroit Lions ready to compete with their division rivals to take home the title.

Just how special of a player is Rodgers? There aren’t many quarterbacks who can complete 109 touchdown passes to go along with only 20 interceptions in a three-year span, but that’s what Rodgers has accomplished since 2014, and the Packers realize how fortunate they are to have him at quarterback for years to come.
