1. Where does Jared Goff stand?

As mentioned before, the Los Angeles Rams heavily invested in Jared Goff last year when they traded up in the 2016 NFL Draft to select the former California star at No. 1. And after seeing all of the key moves made by the team this offseason, it’s time for Goff to begin living up to the hype by showing the Rams he deserves to be the franchise quarterback of this organization.

One of the reasons why Los Angeles was so excited to bring Sean McVay on as their new coach was the potential surrounding the development of Goff, and based off the last few months, it seems to be paying off so far. The Rams quarterback has received plenty of praise over how quickly he’s picked up McVay’s new offense, but the true test begins Saturday night when Goff and his teammates take on the Dallas Cowboys.

Next: NFL Power Rankings: Rams preseason edition

If Goff can figure out a way to make an immediate impact against the Cowboys, and show how much progress he’s made when compared to his rookie season, it will take a ton of pressure off him moving forward. And if not, well let’s just be glad Los Angeles still has more preseason games for Goff to continue working on his development process.
