Check out this amazing video of Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp recovering a fumble for a touchdown on Saturday.

During the 2017 NFL Draft, the Los Angeles Rams used a third-round pick on former Eastern Washington wide receiver Cooper Kupp, and if all goes according to plan, the rookie will hopefully have a huge impact as a rookie. In fact, Kupp wasted no time showing what he can bring to the table for the Rams during Saturday’s first preseason game against the Dallas Cowboys by recording his first career touchdown in the most bizarre way possible.

On a 3rd and 6 with Los Angeles closing in on the end zone, Jared Goff completed a first down pass to Robert Woods, but unfortunately the football popped out when the wideout was on his way to the ground. Believe it or not, the fumble ended up working out to an advantage for the Rams, as the football happened to bounce into the end zone, where Kupp was able to jump on top of it.

Check it out in the video below, as it’s a pretty amazing way for a team to score their first touchdown of the preseason:

It may only be preseason, but this heads up play by Kupp shows how alert of a receiver he is on the football field, and Goff is going to love having him as a new weapon to work with in the passing game. To see a player catch 428 passes for 6,464 yards to go along with 73 touchdowns in a four-year span like Kupp during his time at Eastern Washington is absolutely insane to think about, and he could easily end up being one of the biggest steal’s from this year’s draft class.

Of course, Kupp still has a long way to go when it comes to proving himself since he hasn’t even suited up for an official regular season game. But when seeing how desperate the Rams have been over the years in the wide receiver department, it’s plays like the one Kupp pulled off against the Cowboys that have fans excited over what’s in store for his rookie year.
