28. Chicago Bears (29)

Remember back at the end of April when there was a high amount of Chicago Bears fans who were upset over the team trading up in the 2017 NFL Draft to select Mitch Trubisky after spending all of that money on Mike Glennon? Well, let’s just say a lot of those fans are feeling much better about what the future may hold for Trubisky at quarterback for the Bears following his performance against the Denver Broncos, even if it was only one preseason game.

Chicago may have ended up losing the contest after Denver rallied in the fourth quarter, but seeing Trubisky complete 18 of 25 passes for 166 yards with a touchdown in his first game with the team. As for how Glennon did in limited action, let’s just say finishing with 20 passing yards and an interception on 2 of 8 passing is far from impressive.

The Bears made it clear for months the starting job belonged to Glennon after signing him to a three-year deal in free agency, but football fans have seen this story in the NFL before. Who knows, maybe Trubisky continues to play well for the remainder of preseason to at least make John Fox consider the move to end up starting him as a rookie.
